My grandma, Leona Boxdorfer nee Linnemeyer, was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana
on September 25, 1909--she's 97. She lives alone in her house in Riverside,
CA, not far from family, and still enjoys the quilting group at Immanuel
Lutheran Church (LCMS) where she worships every Sunday. I've attached a
picture of her with her first great-granddaughter. Ninety-seven and she
finally had a great-grandkid! My cousin Joanna and her husband welcomed
Lauren into this world in July; my grandma met her for the first time in
September.
