The Luther rose, or Luther seal, is widely recognized as a symbol of Lutheranism. It was the seal that was designed for Martin Luther at the behest of John Frederick of Saxony in 1530. This longsleeve features the Luther Rose that is printed with the text of Martin Luther's interpretation of its meaning. From a distance it looks like the Luther Rose, up close you can read the text written by Martin Luther in 1530.
